Unlearning Together
Repairing What We’ve Been Taught to Protect
We were never meant to do this work alone.
Unlearning the lies of whiteness, capitalism and patriarchy isn’t a solo performance, it’s a collective act of repair.
This week, I’ve been saying it again and again: we have to unlearn together.
Because this system, the same one that’s destroying Mother Earth, profiting from war and teaching our children to compete instead of connect, depends on our isolation.
It depends on white people staying comfortable, disconnected and convinced that awareness is enough.
It’s why people fall for propaganda like the Great Replacement Theory, a conspiracy designed by fragile men terrified of evolution, equality and accountability.
It’s why so many still believe capitalism can be reformed instead of abolished, even as it extracts from our planet and our souls.
And it’s why people cling to surface-level beauty ideals and respectability politics, because when you don’t love yourself, when you’re disconnected from your humanity, you become easier to control.
Unlearning together means refusing that control.
It means asking ourselves, every day:
What am I protecting when I stay quiet?
Who taught me to see other people as threats instead of mirrors?
What am I willing to lose so that we can all finally live?
This isn’t about guilt.
It’s about courage.
It’s about love powerful enough to dismantle conditioning that’s been centuries in the making.
If you’ve been watching, listening, reading but haven’t yet acted, this is your invitation.
Join us in the practice of unlearning, repairing and rebuilding, for our children’s children, for humanity and for Mother Earth.
Because we cannot dismantle what we refuse to name.
And we cannot heal what we continue to protect.
